October 31^st 2011 will mark the first delivery of an apprenticeship program for Petroleum Equipment Technicians in British Columbia, the only active apprenticeship program in North America for the industry. We are pleased that many of our member organizations have already committed to sponsoring an apprentice to take this pilot program. We encourage those who haven't to please consider supporting this opportunity to better our Industry.

The opportunity is available to increase your company's competitive edge and benefit from shared learning, expertise from outside of the industry and subject matter experts with years of experience and training. Years of field training will be delivered in weeks in the classroom, escalating abilities in safety, job planning and technical skill.
